Dubai has always showered Bollywood with Love and Affection. So it was no wonder that a celebrity auction held in Dubai recently was received with phenomenal response... When actor Rohit Roy organized an auction to help out a training centre for kids with special needs, many Bollywood celebrities came ahead and parted with their belongings for the same.
While most belongings fetched 10,000 to 11,000 Dirham, it was fascinating that the highest bid went up for Hrithik Roshan's Diesel jacket that fetched 11,000 Dirham (Rs.1.79 lakh approx).
Other noticeable bids at the event include Ranbir's leather jacket (worn in Rockstar, 2011) - 10,000 Dirham, Salman's blue shirt and trousers - 10,000 Dirham, Deepika Padukone's cocktail dress from 'Race 2' - 8,000 Dirham and Kareena Kapoor's salwar kameez from 'Heroine' - 10,000 Dirham amongst others.
Phew, truly a mind-blowing filmy deal..!
